A 25-year-old patient came to us after an unfortunate previous surgery. She complained about the excessively long and drooping angle between the nose and lip, the width and asymmetry of her nostrils, and difficulty breathing.
In the surgery we performed using the patient’s own rib cartilage, the excess cartilage and skin at the nose-lip angle were appropriately shortened and restructured to provide a strong nasal support. Solving this unique issue with challenging but effective methods brought us particular satisfaction as well.
